Support

We strive to support as many platforms as possible. Please check our knowledge base or open a helpdesk ticket if you have a question that is not answered in these pages.

IMPORTANT:  Regional Hostnames

When you use the vpn.eyesoffvpn.com server, you could be connected to any server that we have.  If you want to use a US server, because you are out of the country, then you should use vpn.us.eyesoffvpn.com.

TOR Proxy

The TOR Socks Proxy is on all concentrators.
IP:  10.255.255.254
Port: 9050

OpenVPN

We run our OpenVPN environment on the standard UDP port 1194 and on TCP port 443.  The benefit of running on TCP port 443 is that you can now transverse through a proxying firewall. This allows you to access Eyes Off VPN from more locations.

All Platforms

For all platforms you will need the Eye’s Off VPN Certificate Authority certificate file.

Download this file to a path on your machine: EyesOffVPN-cacert.pem

Copy and edit one of the following configurations to connect to our OpenVPN Instance:

OpenVPN Configuration for UDP port 1194 – Download

client
remote vpn.eyesoff.com 1194
ca <PATH_TO>/EyesOffVPN-cacert.pem
auth-user-pass
dev tun
proto udp
nobind
auth-nocache
script-security 2
persist-key
persist-tun
user nobody
group nobody

OpenVPN Configuration for TCP port 443 – Download

client
remote vpn.eyesoff.com 443
ca <PATH_TO>/EyesOffVPN-cacert.pem
auth-user-pass
dev tun
proto tcp
nobind
auth-nocache
script-security 2
persist-key
persist-tun
user nobody
group nobody

Edit and add one of the following lines to the TCP port 443 configuration to include proxy support

# No Authentication
http-proxy <PROXY_ADDRESS> <PROXY_PORT>

# Basic Authentication
http-proxy <PROXY_ADDRESS> <PROXY_PORT> stdin basic

# NTLM Authentication
http-proxy <PROXY_ADDRESS> <PROXY_PORT> stdin ntlm
